Anthony & Ana!

May 26th, 2011 - Posted in Previous Blog | No Comments »

The day started out a little iffy! The black clouds were looming as we drove from the bride’s parents house to St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Glendale. After a beautiful catholic mass, we held out hope that the rain would stay away at least until we got the Millennium in Scottsdale for Anthony and Ana’s reception. As luck would have it, we took some great pictures on the beautiful waterfront and wrapped up the photo session exactly at the moment the skies opened up and poured down with quite a rain storm. Anthony and Ana were unphased. The enjoyed their wedding thoroughly. From the beautiful mass, to the fun-filled reception to the amazing fireworks that ended the evening. And what a pleasure it was working with Serendipity Videography! Congratulations Ana and Anthony!

Melissa & Sebastian’s beautiful Millenium wedding

May 18th, 2011 - Posted in Previous Blog | No Comments »

When I met Melissa and Sebastian almost a year ago, I thought they were the most prescious couple. He was handsome and charismatic and she was beautiful and soft spoken. It wasn’t until their wedding day that I figured out that the groom actually looked like someone I knew. Since the couple were from Minnesota, it didn’t make sense. I didn’t really know anyone from there. Someone from high school? College? Maybe a past job? I finally realized that he was the spitting-image of the actor Gary Sinise! And after looking at the beautiful bride too, I also thought she had a striking resemblance to a very young Elizabeth Taylor! Both were as kind as they were attractive – and their vows were so well spoken. So in love! Congratulations Melissa and Sebastian!

Kamini and Sanjiv’s very special Phoenician wedding

May 10th, 2011 - Posted in Previous Blog | 1 Comment »

So much tradition, color and beauty!! Kamini and Sanjiv’s wedding started with unseasonably warm temperatures. In fact it was the first day of the year that Phoenix broke the triple digit mark – landing at exactly 100 degrees! Still, the family, the bride and groom, all the wonderful guest seemed unphased. Kamini looked beautiful in her traditional Indian wedding dress. The first of two gorgeous gowns. The groom was ushered in early in the day to a parade of family and friends led by an amazing drummer. The ceremony was performed by Indian priests that used some of the most fascinating and aromatic traditions. One of my favorites will always be the henna painted on to the hands of the bride. Incredible florals and linens were provided by Pacific Events – and the Phoenician’s staff did such a beautiful job or orchestrating everything. Congratulations Kamini and Sanjiv!

Holly & Mike’s beautiful Villa Siena wedding

May 3rd, 2011 - Posted in Previous Blog | 1 Comment »

What a fantastic couple!! Holly and Mike are the type of people you want to befriend forever! Their wedding was held on a beautiful spring day at the stunning Villa Siena in Gilbert, AZ. I knew they were going to be uber-fun after we had a fabulous engagement session up a Troon North several months back. Their warmth and character was quite evident in the photos. We also loved their “Disney” theme. Gorgeous flowers were provided by Blume, great food by Magic Touch Catering, and amazing cake by Piece of Cake, and excellent dance music by Jeff at Ray the DJ. Congratulations Mike and Holly!
