What a big day it was…. 10/10/10! Jordan and Morgan had picked the day of course for a reason. Who could forget it? And what a special couple. Very shy and soft spoken, they were perfect for each other. And peeps from my favorite country…. Canada!! As most of you know, it is in my blood. As usual, the gorgeous Intercontenintal Montelucia Resort was a photographers paradise. Beauty at every turn of the corner. And Jordan and Morgan were willing to go far and wide to create the perfect pictures. What a great day! Congratulations Jordan and Morgan!

Even the smallest of weddings can be so touching and special. I had only met Jeff and Elizabeth by phone when they were planning their “family-only” destination wedding from Minnesota. When they arrived at Scottsdale’s Phoenician Resort for their big day we were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and open arms (hugs actually!) we received. What a loving and beautiful family. And always a pleasure working with Mike Kennedy who performed the ceremony. Congratulations Jeff and Elizabeth!

I adored Dennis and Nancy from the day I met them! They met us in the lobby of the Phoenician months and months ago and they both had hugs for us from day one. They had a beautiful church wedding in Sun City and headed for the gorgeous Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale for the reception at Windows on the Green. They even brought their tiniest little family member – dog Sophia. Don’t get us wrong, it was quite evident that the rest of the family was equally as important. And the love between Dennis and Nancy is ever so evident! As always so nice working with Stephanie at the Phoenician and Serendipity Videography! Congratulations Dennis and Nancy!

Leah and Ryan were so much fun. Love Leah’s colors…. the red bridesmaids dresses and the vibrant red roses… love that! And Ryan seemed like he would potentially become one of One Fine Day Photography’s team as he was so interested in photography. We ended up talking about camera types for quite a while. Hope he goes in the direction of Canon
Their families were so nice! And what a fun party. It was great working with Bernice and Lavi at Sassi. Video services were provided by Lynn from Digital Video Productions – such a great person. Seems like we’ve known her for years now. And Ray the DJ was there… he’s definitely one of my favorites. Congratulations Leah and Ryan!

It’s not often we get to shoot weekday weddings – so it was fun to pack up all the camera gear and head to Chandler’s gorgeous Castle at Ashley Manor on a Thursday for Denise and Michael’s big day. I love this first photo – the moment when Denise peeked out the front door of the Castle for her “reveal” moment with Michael. Denise looked so stunning and timeless in her beautiful gown and cathedral length veil. Michael and Denise are both teachers and I loved them from the day I met them. Such genuine, happy people. And their families were just as much of a joy. And of course, it was great working with Jessica and Jeff at the Castle. Congratulations Denise and Michael!
