What a beautiful spring day at the Sanctuary! Danielle and Mike couldn’t have asked for nicer weather, nicer family, nicer friends or nicer moments. It was all good!! Halfway through the day we found this very cool mirror hanging on an outside wall near the new wedding ballroom called the Praying Monk dining room. I said to my second photographer: “has this mirror always been here?” It made for a perfectly framed photo of the couple. Then we drove up the hill in a golf cart at sunset and found some new spots for pictures including some great wildflowers. Again I said to my second photographer – “have these wildflowers always been here?” It was a day for finding new and interesting backdrops for our photography. Okay, so I didn’t say “has this pool always been here?”… but we decided to try something new with the pool anyway. Check ‘em out.

Getting out of Phoenix from time-to-time to take pictures in a completely different environment is always such a pleasure. Going from the Golden Gate bridge, to Union Square and the Presidio – I felt like a kid in a candy store. The weather and scenery was great and Ryan and Page are two of the kindest-hearted, most loving couples I know! I can’t wait for their California wedding in July!

When I first met Marissa and Matt I thought they were a shy couple. Their engagement session was sweet, unassuming and loving as could be – the coupe appeared to be a little quiet and reserved, but totally in love. So when their big day came around we were pleasantly surprised by how much fun and frolic was going on. The wedding party were having a blast, toasting and hi-fiving from the start. The groomsmen were even climbing trees from the beginning. Literally. What a great wedding. From the ceremony music, guests, family, friends, and an incredible grooms cake in the shape of the Ohio State stadium – it was a wedding to be remembered. One of the highlights was an amazing choreographed first dance that was practiced and perfected by the couple… they aced it!! And – when Serendipity Videography is around, it is always sure to be a great night. And working with Krista Bossie at Millenium is also a special treat. Marissa and Matt – thanks for such a memorable night!!

What a beautiful day it was when Brooke and Robert got married at the gorgeous Intercontinental Montelucia Resort. Brooke looked so beautiful and Robert’s vows were so touching. There wasn’t a dry eye when he spoke those beautiful words. Another amazing moment was when the bride’s maid of honor sang a tribute to the bride and groom. What a beautiful voice!! I think she need to be on American Idol. And, as usual it was a pleasure working with Montelucia’s Jodee Dominici. Things ran so smoothly thanks to her. Congratulations Brooke and Robert!

It is always such a joy photographing weddings at the beautiful Brophy Chapel in Phoenix, Arizona. Our couple, Jessica and Mike were a joy. They had planned lots of time between the ceremony and their evening reception, so One Fine Day Photographers Anne McCarthy and Eric Leach took advantage of the time and made a few photo stops along the way to the Terravita Country Club in Carefree. One stop was a simple freeway overpass which made for some awesome lines and light in some of the photos. The next stop was the beautiful Del Pedregal. Lots of color and beautiful florals in full bloom for Spring. The highlight of the evening was one of Arizona’s famous brilliant red-sky sunsets, followed by dinner, dancing and partying. Congratulations Mike and Jessica.
