Page & Ryan!!

August 30th, 2010 - Posted in Previous Blog | 4 Comments »

I don’t often do family weddings, but of course when my cousin Page asked me to be her wedding photographer, I was more than happy to oblige. She married the most wonderful guy ever – Ryan Douglas. My favorite two girls, Natalie and Rose were the flower girls, and Page’s two sisters Lauren and Nicole were two of the bridesmaids. Everyone looked gorgeous!! A special thanks to Brett Foland for being my second shooter (fabulous job Brett!), as well as David Blakeman, my nephew who has made quite a name for himself in the Phoenix photography community. And Stephanie, my niece did such a great job with the little girl’s hair.
I had not been to Riverside’s historic Mission Inn before. What a gem!! We started the day there with wedding party photos, and crossed the street to a beautiful historic church for the ceremony and then it was on to Oak Quarry Country Club for the reception. What a fabulous party that was! Congratulations and lots of love Page & Ryan!!

Wow. Incredible day. Thank you for capturing it for those of us who could not get to CA for the celebration. Have to say there are so many things that you captured for me: the green in the dresses, the joy in the flower girls' twirls, the tear as Aunt Rosemary looked at her son and grand-daughter. Wow. Thanks so much for sharing the day.

Anne, you captured the day perfectly. Page looked so beautiful and Ryan looked so proud and handsome. Thanks so much for doing a great job for my sister and my new brother-in-law! The entire day was so family-oriented and wonderful. Thanks again, Anne! You're the best!

These just get better and better every time I look at them! I like the little girl's hair styles and the stylist that did them! And yes, you did capture the day perfectly!

Anne, you are so very talented. These pictures are AMAZING and we'll treasure them forever. Thanks for capturing some very special moments with me and my Mom and me and the kids. I love them!

BJ and Camille’s beautiful beach wedding

August 24th, 2010 - Posted in Previous Blog | 1 Comment »

On the same day in July, One Fine Day Photography’s Doug Williams and Anne McCarthy drove – seperately – to two different weddings in California. One in Riverside and one in La Jolla. Doug got to be closer to the beach with the very cool BJ and Camille. Doug was really into the Converse shoes that all the guys wore. BJ pulled it off with that great grey suit. And Camille looked adorable in her gown and her “something” blue shoes. Here are some of our favorite photos from their wedding. Congratulations BJ and Camille!!

Mary & Mark Laguna Beach dress trashing!!

August 18th, 2010 - Posted in Previous Blog | 1 Comment »

Okay so Mary and Mark’s May wedding in Scottsdale was so much fun, but the real fun took place at the trash-the-dress session at the beautiful Montage in Laguna Beach, California two months later. We had such a blast. And yes, the dress is truly trashed!

Bailey & Jeff’s beautiful Troon North wedding

August 10th, 2010 - Posted in Previous Blog | 1 Comment »

Another wedding in the “triple-digit” temperatures … perhaps it was around 110 or 112, no big deal, right? At least that is how Bailey and Jeff thought of it. They were carefree and happy on their big day no matter how hot it was! At least the guys had some colors other than the typical “black” tux color. Their cream colored jackets and pants looked great! It is always such a pleasure taking pictures at the Troon North Country Club. Driving up to hole 11 for the fabulous views never let’s us down. And as is the “norm” during our typical hot summers nights in Arizona, we had a magnificant sunset. Congratulations Bailey and Jeff!!

DC Ranch summer bliss!

July 30th, 2010 - Posted in Previous Blog | No Comments »

Alana & Ryan were not the least bit upset by the 110 degree temperatures on their wedding day at the beautiful DC Ranch Country Club. They were so in love, I don’t think they even noticed!! They did however, notice the wild bobcat running around the golf course when we golf-carted the entire wedding party up to the higher tees for some amazing views. They couldn’t have asked for a more perfect Arizona sky. As usual it was such a joy working with Ray the DJ… and Sharon Bishop with DC Ranch. Congratulations Ally and Ryan!!
