I loved that Melissa and Nick’s wedding honored those that were serving our country. Friends of the couple that couldn’t make it – because they are serving our country in Iraq – were definitely remembered throughout the day – both in the toasts during the evening – and the honor guard that greeting the couple as they left the church. The reception was held at the beautiful Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center.

The McDowell Mountain Marriot proved to be quite the beautiful resort venue for Erin and Ryan’s wedding. Their traditional Catholic wedding was held earlier in the day at Blessed Sacrament Church which has a VERY special place in my heart since that is where my own mother’s funeral was only a few years ago. Regardless, the ceremony and couple were beautiful and the day turned out great. I think my mother was smiling down on me that day.

Eric and Meghan were so much fun!! Their wedding was held at Troon North and the climax of the day was one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. Not to mention how much fun their wedding party was.

I had gotten a call on Saturday the March 29th from a bride named Stephanie saying that her wedding was the very next day at the gorgeous Sassi and that her wedding photographer’s child was sick and in the hospital. She needed to find a new wedding photographer – but quick. I was happy to help. Stephanie was one of the most beautiful brides (inside and out) that I had ever photographed. Her family was wonderful and gracious.

Gainey Ranch Golf Club was a beautiful setting for Marc and Jeanine’s wedding. Most of the guests were hoping for a bright sunny day and their wish was granted. And we loved the relationship the bride had with her very special niece.
